OAK AND WALNUT BOW FRONT BOOK SHELVES - do-designs

Darren was asked to make a pair of Bow fronted book shelves to fit either side of an existing oak fire  place given just the height and width dimensions to work with Darren had almost a Blank canvas to come up with a design. Darren was given an opportunity to make these bookshelves as traditionally as possible the bow front plinth was originally a solid  board which was sliced into thin strips then re-glued using a bowed former to laminate the plinth to its new shape the American black Walnut mould was then added. The Panelled backs were framed and fielded to give the Book shelves the look of quality  they deserve.
